Hospitality Business Network Foundation, Inc.
Thank you for "Taking the Call"

Dear Friends and Supporters of the Hospitality Business Network:

It's like the old song says, "Everything Old is New Again." Welcome to the first business meeting of the "new" Hospitality Business Network Foundation, Inc.

What's "old?"
  • Our annual golf tournament, the Turkey Trot Invitational, will celebrate its 22nd anniversary this year.
  • More than $2,000,000 has been donated to Atlanta charities over the past 21 years.
  • The Turkey Trot started with the financial support of four or five companies.
  • We "grew up" under the umbrella and support of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau.

What's "new?"
The Hospitality Business Network Foundation, Inc.

  • In January 2013, the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Coca-Cola Company and AT&T provided a three-year financial committment as prensenting sponsors of the new Hospitality Business Network Foundation, Inc.
  • The HBN Foundation is now registered as a non-profit corporation with the State of Georgia and has filed a 1023 application for 501(c)3 status with the Internal Revenue Service with Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.
  • With the assistance of Rear Admiral Casey Coane USN (Ret.) executive director of the Association of the United States Navy (AUSN) in Washington, D.C., HBN Foundation has designated the AUSN's Safe Harbor Foundation and the Wounded Warriors Project as our primary charities for 2013. HBN will focus on giving to organizations related to aiding qualified active duty military and veterans residing in the metro Atlanta area and the State of Georgia.
  • HBN Foundation 2013 budget projects revenues of $400,000 consisting primarily of contributions, registration and sponsorship fees. Expenses are anticipated to be less than $200,000 with net proceeds to charities of approximately $200,000 (50%). The Foundation has opened an account with the Bank of North Georgia nad has an EIN# 46-2010898.

The Hospitality Business Network Foundation is committed to growth within the hospitality industry, primarily in Atlanta; but, also within the State of Georgia.

We have a mission statement, internal organization, and list of board of directors attached for your review. It is our objective, however, to continue to provide our members and participants with programs that are stimulating, informative, productive and ...Fun! The goal is to help generate business for you and your company.

Thank you for visiting our website and remember to always "Take the Call."
