2019 Spring Conference

We are pleased that ACVB President William Pate will provide an extensive look at the future of Atlanta's tourism industry and events. Also on hand will be David Rubinger, Market President and Publisher, Atlanta Business Chronicle as he shares the latest up-to-date information on Atlanta's business community along with the latest breaking news and top stories. Special Guest and new HBN member Phil Kent is CEO of InsiderAdvantage and publisher of JAMES Magazine. Phil is also a panelist for "The Georgia Gang" and will give an update on status of current and proposed legislation for the City of Atlanta and State of Georgia. Rounding out the Conference will be six HBN members providing information about their companies and/or products in two "Three in Thirty" 10-minute segments each. HBN's Spring Conference would not be the same without the opportunity to join your fellow HBN members for a reception and dinner at Hal's on Old Ivy, open exclusively to attendees of the Spring Conference. HBN Partner and long-time friend, Walter Kiley, director of sales and marketing, has invited HBN to its first Conference for 2018 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339. The theme for this meeting will be a focus on Atlanta's and Georgia's multi-billion dollar film industry. Lee Thomas, deputy commissioner of the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, has assembled a panel of film and movie professionals to give us insight into one of the most profitable and growing areas of Georgia's commerce. Clisby Clarke, co-founder, Turkey Trot Invitational and co-founder Hospitality Business Network Foundation, Inc. In addition, the first Chairman's Award will be given in honor of Carey A. Rountree, career hospitality industry representative and former HBN Chairman of the Board. The recipient of the Clisby Clark Lifetime Achievement Award is U. S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga, while the recipient of the Carey Rountree Chairman's Award is Hal Nowak, Owner, Hal's on Old Ivy.

    27th Annual Turkey Trot Invitational and 4th Annual Army Navy Challenge Cup.

    Ansley Golf Club at Settingdown Creek

    Since 1992, more than 600 area businesses and individuals have played in the Turkey Trot Invitational, forming a business network among HBN Foundation members and corporate sponsors. The Turkey Trot Invitational is one of Georgia's oldest and largest charity golf tournaments generating over $2 million dollars for other charitable organizations during its 26 year history. The Turkey Trot Invitational and Patriots Reception are the HBN's season finale providing players and guests a time to celebrate the Thanksgiving Season while honoring our wounded warrior veterans and those brave men and women still serving in our Armed Forces.
